Social by Mack is seeking a creative, reliable and experienced go-getter to assist with our Social Media clients! This role is for a Part-Time Social Media Assistant for a small Social Media Management company that service appx. 20 client accounts, based out of Los Angeles, CA.
The majority of the job will be VIRTUAL, however some on-site assistance may be needed, and therefore, applicant preferably resides is within the Los Angeles area (Hollywood, West Hollywood, NoHo, DTLA, Studio City, etc). Office is located in Hollywood, where employee may need to work from on occasion. Applicant should have a vehicle or means of transportation.
This is the perfect job to supplement income, as it only requires appx 10-20 hours per week. Great opportunity for some extra cash flow. Opportunity for hours and pay to increase over the next few months.
Potential Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am-12pm +/-
Remote Hours: Vary as needed and based on your schedule preference.
If you are a self-starter, organized creative who know your way around Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Trello and video editing apps and have copywriting/caption-writing skills, then this role is for you!

Responsibilities include:
-Assist with drafting, scheduling uploading client Social Media posts (mainly to Instagram) up to 3 days per week (will vary based on schedule and needs)
-Basic Social Media knowledge (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
-Ability to create and draft creative captions and video concepts
-Basic photo editing (knowledge of CapCut and Lightroom a plus)
-Drafting and uploading Instagram Stories
-Basic Community Management (replying to comments and DMs when needed)
-Planning weekly Social Media calendars for upcoming client posts via Trello
-Creating and designing graphics and posts on sites such as Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Spark Post, etc.
-Editing Instagram Reels and/or TikTok videos utilizing trending sounds and topics
-On-Boarding New Clients
-Marketing and Sales (this is a future opportunity for additional income)
-Content Brainstorming, Knowledge of current Social Media trends
-On-Site Photoshoot Assistance + Other Tasks
This is a part time job, so ability to work independently and take initiative is very important.
Qualifications:
- Students pursuing BA/BS preferred, though not required if personal or professional experience supports.
- Tech-savvy
- Personal or professional experience in growing a Social Media presence.
- Experience working with various Social Media forums; Instagram, TikTok, CapCut, etc
- Graphic design or creative abilities a MAJOR plus! Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Pinterest, AdobeSpark, etc a plus!
-Able to work on-call as needed or assisting with posting as needed. Preference on applicant with vehicle or means of transportation.
-Able to access Social Media platforms from your own personal phone device and computer in required.
