Puppy Wrangler
If you love working with dogs (puppies!) and have experience taking photo/video or creating Social Media Content, this unique position is for you! Dogs in Harmony is a full service training program for families that want to build clear communication with their dogs to create a better quality of life for every member of the house hold. We specialize in early puppy development, training and socialization as well as behavior and training needs that will come up during the lifetime of the dog. Our training center is located in Sunnyvale.
Our Puppy Wrangler provides training assistance, under the guidance of our Professional Trainer, during our Harmony School program.
Harmony School - Day school for puppies under the age of 4 months
- Monday - Friday 9 am - 2pm
Job Responsibilities:
Puppy Wranglers are responsible for:
- Cleaning up after puppies
- Filling water bowls
- Rotating toys
- Moving play pens or crates
- Setting up and breaking down equipment for training session
- Rotating puppies for potty breaks/training
- Facilitating crate training (with assistance of a trainer)
- Keeping a clean, organized and sanitary training room
- Taking update photos & video for puppy parents.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Our ideal candidate loves working with dogs and has photo/video and Social Media (TikTok, Instagram) experience. This candidate will fill a need for on-site training assistance as well as providing clients with quality update photos and videos. Demonstrated understanding of Social Media, primarily Instagram and TikTok and content creation is a plus.
- Our preferred candidates have either an interest in working with dogs and becoming a training professional, or are puppy lovers who enjoy creating Social Media Content and would enjoy working with the puppies in our facility while creating content for puppy parents and our audience to enjoy. If you're both-- even better!
- Likes receiving feedback and is interested in learning more about Dog Training, care, and service.
- Is a good listener and is able to follow directions and effectively communicate questions.
- Is organized and reliable. Can commit to a regular work schedule.
- Is proactive and service oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility toward our clients and the puppies we work with.
