Our team is dynamic, forward-thinking, and committed to excellence in all aspects of our work. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team.
Position Overview: As a Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our operations. Your responsibilities will include monthly invoicing, payment posting, accounts receivable, payroll administration, health benefit administration, expense report auditing, time sheet audits, as well as monthly and quarterly sales and use tax filings. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing client contract administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send out monthly invoices to clients
- Post payments and reconcile accounts receivable
- Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration
- Conduct thorough audits of expense reports and time sheets
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns
- Administer client contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
- Assist with general accounting tasks and financial reporting as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks, and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations is a plus
- Experience in a technology or consulting firm is preferred but not required
Schedule: Part-Time, 22.5 hours per week
Compensation: starting at $20/hr
