Tool Crib Coordinator

Located in the beautiful “Forest City” of Rockford, Illinois, we are a global manufacturer and distributor of precision machine tool components and metal cutting solutions. We are a strong and well diversified company in the process of expanding our capabilities and product offerings.

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team in a full time, 1st shift position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in organizing, consolidating, and maintaining a high level of organization with all perishable cutting tools throughout our manufacturing facility.
• Collaborate with our machine shop teams, purchasing, and outside tooling suppliers in an effort to develop the ideal system to ensure availability of the optimum tooling needed to perform our daily machining tasks.
• Assist in organizing, and maintaining a high level of organization with all measuring gages throughout our manufacturing facility.
• Where practical, assist our quality department by performing gage calibration activities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• The ideal candidate will have had previous experience or exposure to a machine shop - metal cutting environment.
• The candidate must be a self-directed, organized, productive, strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship type individual.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
