Position Summary
DESCRIPTION:
Assist with the administrative responsibilities of Student Conduct matters for the Office of Residence Life. Assist the Assistant Director of Residence Life for Student Conduct in the delivery of available programs and services; perform general administrative functions; provide assistance efficiently; and provide good customer service to all individuals that contact the department. This position deals with time-sensitive and confidential information.
OUTCOME:
Maintain the efficient operation of the Student Conduct process in the Office of Residence Life. Coordinate effective administrative results and anticipate clerical support.
Essential Functions
Provide effective first point-of-contact for students, staff, and parents –25%Schedule appointments, conduct hearings, meetings, and reserve locations –20%Create departmental communications, generate reports, and scan documents –15%Manage the content of Residence Life affiliated webpages –15%Organize, maintain, and update office records, information, and files –15%Assist in managing office with regard to administrative operations and functions –10%Experience and Education Required
High school diploma or equivalentOne to three years general office experienceOne to three years customer service experienceOne to three years computer experienceRequired Skills and Qualifications
