Financial Associate, Finance and Administration – Shared ServicesDescription: This position within the Office of Shared Services is responsible for administrative functions for various departments under the VC of Finance & Administration. The position coordinates with division personnel and other campus personnel regarding Shared Services, compliance tracking, timekeeping, financial transactions, and contract administration. This person performs data entry, invoice processing, budgetary track for operational departments for the division and other UTK departments along with division personnel.Position Responsibilities:

Administrative duties including supporting staff with financial transactionsProcessing invoices; procurement card reconciliationLedger reconciliationsResearch and resolve errors found in varying tasks, including budget, ledgers, pcards, and UPM entriesData entry for UPM including DFWorks and Monarch entriesFedEx reconciliationsProcessing monthly billing reports for IRIS entry for Mail ServicesTimekeeping and payroll resource for graduate students in supported departments, i.e., Chancellor’s officeManaging reoccurring invoices & expenses, verifying they are within compliance and processing them.Ordering supplies for departments as needed and maintaining records and documentation of departments supported by Shared ServicesInitiating and processing contract review for VC F&A departments, ensuring all relevant information is submitted, including NCJ’s as neededTracking and maintaining campus compliance records

Qualifications
Qualifications:Required:Education: High school diploma or GEDExperience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 1-3 years experience with data entry, processing invoices, excel experience, or working in an office environment

Good oral and written communication skills and sound judgementExceptional customer service skillsComputer experienceAbility to demonstrate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficeAbility to track and enter data accurately1-3 years experience with data entry, processing invoices, excel experience, or working in an office environment

Preferred:Education: Vocational or technical training, Associate’s degree
