Part Time Office Administrative Assistant Position: 2 days per week, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.,(14/hrs a week), reporting to owner of small financial planning business, 30 yrs. in business, located in Newburyport, MA.
Office administration experience required. Self-starter with exacting attention to detail and confidentiality. Computer skills must be excellent, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher. Familiarity with database management, such as Access, and the ability to quickly learn business-related software. Ability to perform accurate data entry, respond to emails, type professional correspondence, complete insurance applications, edit newsletters using Publisher, edit and post weekly blogs in Wordpress, handle mail-merge/label functions, all with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent grammar and spelling is necessary. Ability to work independently is imperative. Understanding of technology, web-based software, and office machines, i.e. computer, copier, scanner, postal machine. Candidate must be adaptable, flexible, an intuitive problem solver, have the ability to remember and manage many details, and have a great sense of humor!
