Our growing AV rated 9-attorney insurance defense firm is currently seeking a part-time (25 hours a week) Operations/Office Manager.
The position will work closely with the firm's file manager and accounting consultant to handle the day-to-day operations of the firm. After an in-office training period, the role is eligible for hybrid remote work.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Four+ years of administrative office experience required
- Office management experience preferred
- Law firm and/or accounts payable experience preferred
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to work
- Comfort learning and implementing new technologies and systems
- Excellent communication skills
Position specifications:
- Manages office systems, operations, and procedures
- Maintains HR records, processes benefits enrollments, and handles the onboarding/offboarding process
- Acts as first point of contact for the firm's general phone line
- Tracks and renews ongoing licenses, insurance, and other business-related contracts
- Maintains the Accounts Payable inbox to communicate with vendors and clients
- Occasionally issues time-sensitive check requests
- May coordinate payment of vendors from third-party clients
- Tracks payment status of outgoing bills to clients and makes bank deposits
- Acts as backup for File Manager, at times handling incoming and outgoing mail, including vendor payments and settlement checks
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
