Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
This is a hybrid position based in both the BSA Hospital GI lab and supporting a physician in an endoscopy clinic setting.
Additional duties include:
Answering patient phone calls
Assisting with medication refiles
Scheduling patients for procedures
Supporting a physician in a clinic setting including room patients and rounding
Tracking imaging
Maintaining procedure logs and data base logs
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN License
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous acute care experience preferred
- Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately
