Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Manager & Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office, as well as handling accounting duties to maintain accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
1. Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, including managing schedules, supplies, and equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries and concerns.
2. Accounting:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.
- Reconcile financial statements and bank accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
- Track and analyze financial data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring expenses to ensure compliance.
3. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support as needed.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to support their administrative and financial needs.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on office procedures and accounting policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in office management and accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or relevant accounting credentials.
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
