We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with organizing meetings and preparing meeting materials
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
- Help maintain a clean and organized office environment
Skills:
- Proficient in typing and data entry
- STRONG and EXCEPTIONAL with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Previous experience as a clerk or medical receptionist is a MUST
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred
- Comfortable working with computerized systems
