Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in a deadline driven, multi- tasking environment. Is an upbeat quick learner who can prioritize and stay organized, likes to-do lists and loves checking things off them.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare purchase requisitions
- Source and order products through our existing supplier network
- Prepare power point and online product presentations
- Organize client projects and bids
- Ship and track samples and client orders
- Verify product pricing and availability
- Communicate effectively with our internal team and external suppliers
- Prepare email communications for clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an office setting preferred
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
