Position: Office Assistant
Position Description:
We are looking for a part-time Office Assistant to provide support for our Grand Rapids based specialty sports flooring company.
Position Overview:
This part-time position will oversee and perform independently a variety of administrative support and data management.
The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and effectively communicate. Strong orgnizational skills, Microsoft Office Suite Programs, and general computerskills are just a few skills necessary to be successful in this position.
Job Responsibilities:
-Invoicing and paying bills
- Preparing deposits
- Credit card monitoring and reconciliation
- Communication with sales staff on outstanding statements
- Generating invoices and statements
- Verifying and processing payments
- General office and sales staff support
Experience/Skills Needed:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail to ensure data integrity and skills
- Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to work effectively and to shift priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information
- QuickBooks is a plus but not required
