We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant for our one-specialist office in Flint Township, Michigan.
Duties require to participate in duties as required by the management.
This may include, but not limited to:
· Recording the patient’s chief complaint and history.
· Scribing or transcribing physical exam.
· Recording diagnostic test results.
· Preparing assessment and plan for follow-up care.
· Participate in other office duties, as required by the physician.
Job Requirements:
· Proficiency in speaking, writing and typing in English, including correct spelling of routinely used vocabulary.
· Basic knowledge of medical terminology as well as medical procedures –
Priority will be given to those who demonstrate higher than basic knowledge.
· Motivation, dedication, confidence and professionalism.
· Clinical & executive experience are PREFERRED.
· A college bachelor degree is PREFERRED.
· Knowledge of working with MS-Office is PREFERRED.
· Ability to handle a stressful and fast-paced environment.
· Ability to read, write and comprehend through listening.
· Ability to operate a computer and/or laptop through adept typing, clicking and viewing a monitor for extended periods of time.
· Ability to write legibly by hand.
· Ability to attend work daily on a timely routine.
