We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, etc.
- Assist with order entry and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing orders
- Organize, pack, write up fundraising orders.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry and invoice processing
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Assist with organizing and maintaining office files and documents
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
- Experience in an administrative role or similar position preferred
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy, as well as hand-written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills
We offer pay based on experience, ranging from $12-$14 per hour
