Job Description
We are searching for an Office Assistant to join the team of a manufacturer located in Dexter, MI. This is a long-term opportunity within a company that offers career growth!
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Pay Range: $18.00 – 20.00/hr.

Essential Job Functions:
- Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks (Required)
- Generate payroll
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Experience with accounts receivable and payable
- Prepare and print expenses checks
- Organize service reporting and packing lists headquarters
- Purchase orders and invoices
- Contact the customers to send invoices, packing lists, and tracking numbers via UPS and/or FedEx
- Answer phone calls and transfer to appropriate department
- Deposit checks or other necessary paperwork to the Bank (3 miles from the office, milage will be paid)
- Prepare documents via Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an office environment
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
