Sutherland Felt Company is a family owned business looking for an energetic Office Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support for the daily operation of the office. The ideal candidate is hard working, organized and detail oriented.
Key Responsibilities
- · Answering Phones
- · General Customer Service
- · Managing online sample requests and Samples sent Database
- · Open/Distribute mail
- · Enter Check Deposits
- · Manage Office Supplies
- · Data entry
- · File/organize (Sales Orders, PO’s, vendor invoices)
- · Assist with daily invoicing
- · Email / mail customer invoices
- · Enter sales orders
- · Assist with month-end Microsoft Excel reporting
- · Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience
- · Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- · Fast and accurate data entry skills
- · Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, & Word
- · Strong ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- · Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented
- · Experience with database and accounting software a plus
- · Able to function in a fast-paced environment
