As a Medical Receptionist, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and visitors at the door and assists them to a waiting area or to an office
- Checks in patients at the front desk and assists them with registration or any other necessary transactions throughout the day
- Answers incoming calls at phone, assists in receptionist duties, or any other function requested by the director
- Schedules appointments for clients and medical providers through computer system. Takes and confirms patient appointments.
- Document and update records according to current policies and procedures and keep all documentation and notes in accordance with policy and federal guidelines.
- Maintain operational procedures related to medical records as needed. Coordinate with Clinical Director on medical appointments. Assist in coordination of medical records transfers between facilities.
- Responsible for maintaining patient charts, lab orders, insurance information, referrals, etc.
Desired Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
- Medical Records Experience (minimum of 1 year preferred)
- Administrative Experience (preferred)
- Spanish speaking

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
