The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality customer service to patients, adhere to practice protocols and processes, and effectively manage the volume of work without allowing quality to be compromised.
Responsibilities/Skills will include:

- Greet incoming patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and other visitors
- Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary
- Accept and triage incoming phone calls
- Place outbound calls to patients and referring offices as needed
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments and update patient charts
- Register new patients and update necessary records
- Verify Patient Insurance
- Process patient payments in office
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
- Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering
- Ensure that the waiting room environment remains quiet, calm, and welcoming
- Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Experience in physician office preferred
- Experience in outpatient procedural setting a BIG PLUS
- EMR experience preferred
- Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization a BIG PLUS
- Cross functional training in basic patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining and recording vital signs, obtaining medical histories, sterile technique, universal protocols, room turnover, sterile tray preparation, and other related skills a BIG PLUS
