Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient service and administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a small practice, with a wonderful existing staff, and is looking for long term employees to join!

No experience required. Fast paced office. Ability to work independently is helpful, once training is completed. If you have experience working with medical terminology, patient scheduling systems, and have strong administrative skills, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and assist healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as necessary
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant preferred
- Proficiency in using medical office software preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and handling administrative tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
