Little Apple Podiatry growing ! To support our existing patients and our new doctor, we are adding a Medical Receptionist to our team. The Medical Receptionist will join one other Receptionist and Biller to complete our Administration team. They will play an important role in the daily operations of the office. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls, check in and check out, scheduling, data entry of patient information, payment processing, and ensuring all paperwork is received and processed appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Schedule new and existing patients
- Collect and input new patient demographic and insurance data into EMR
- Take and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage office voicemail
- Manage physician appointment schedule
- Write absence notes
Requirements
- Deliver excellent customer service to our patients to create a pleasant atmostphere
- Accurately and securely handle highly confidential patient data - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Ability to successfully work with different personality types
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work independently
- Attention to Detail
- Most important requirement is a personality that exudes empathy & compassion toward the patients and staff
