SalaryPediatric office in Manhattan seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our amazing front office team. Hours include Monday thru Thursday, 5pm to 8pm and Sunday afternoons, 1pm to 4:30p. Additional hours may be available. The right candidate will be dependable, self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Pediatric Associates strives to provide excellent care and customer service to our patients and their families. Members of our team must possess a strong work ethic and a positive, professional attitude.
Duties will include the following;
- Answering phones
- Patient check in and check out
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Updating patient demographics and verifying insurance information
- Collecting payments
- Processing medical record requests
- Distributing electronic faxes
- Experience with HIPAA, medical insurance is desired, but not required
A pre-employment drug screen and background check are required. Employees of Pediatric Associates are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19.
