Our busy cardiology office is looking for someone to join our team in a dual role as a medical office receptionist and scheduler for procedures. Duties include but are not limited to welcoming patients, vendors, pharmaceutical representatives, and visitors to our medical office. Checking patients in and out for their appointments. Retrieving and scanning pertinent patient information into EMR. Answering and directing multi-lined phones. Utilizing our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients.
Additionally, this position would entail checking patients out from their appointments and scheduling any testing or procedures that were ordered during their visit. Looking for friendly and compassionate disposition. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records. Experience/familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records is preferred, but not required. This is a full-time, M-F position.
