Medical Receptionist - OB/GYN

MUST:
Experienced Medical Receptionist
1+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist
Must have a background in OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and/or Family Medicine
Must have experience working on NextGen EMR
Must be technology savvy and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft suites
Must have experience working in a busy multi-physician practice
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be someone adaptable, proactive, and quality-focused
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a busy/ high volume healthcare environment
High School diploma or equivalent or technical school certificate required
DUTIES:
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and over the phone.
Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
Verify patient insurance information, process billing inquiries, and collaborate with the billing department as needed.
Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including managing office supplies, handling mail, and maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
Ensure accurate and complete patient registration, including updating patient demographics and insurance information.
