A. Performs other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
B. Promotes Customer Service.
C. Performs essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
D. Responsible to collect and update Patient Information at each visit–race, ethnicity, DOB, address, phone number, Insurance, and Consents. You will need to update address and phone number in both the patient and guarantor screen.
E. Verifies insurance coverage for every patient.
F. Make sure all patient information and all (Financial and Patient) consents are signed for all patients.
G. Review patient account balances when patients check in and have billing discuss past due balances prior to being seen by Provider.
H. Assist in collecting co-pays and/or deductibles prior to patient being seen.
I. Answers the telephone calls with a proper screening.
J. Schedules appointments in cooperation with the physicians and staff.
K. Confirm patient appointments for the next day.
L. Print labs/records/etc.… for next day scheduled appointments in advance.
M. Print Medical Records when requested. Make sure a release of medical records form has been completed by the patient prior to printing records.
N. Responds to public inquiries courteously and efficiently.
O. Obtains and forwards pertinent information to the appropriate staff and/or requester in a timely manner such as task lists and messages.
P. Scanning all pertinent data for in-house patients, insurance cards, medical records from another provider, consents, and referrals to the clinical chart or admin screen.

S. Clean and Organize the front and waiting area.

High school graduate or equivalent
B. Training and Experience:
Aptitude to organize, file and perform clerical work with speed and

Basic math knowledge
