HeartCare Texas is a cardiology practice in North Richland Hills, TX. We are professional and compassionate with our patients. We realize it is important for people to actually talk with people on the phone. We answer our phone personally, usually within the first 2 rings. We encourage people to contact their pharmacy first but even if they don't, we will do our best to get them taken care of in one day if at all possible. We care about our patients and they know it. Overview: We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Medical Office. If you have experience in a healthcare setting and possess strong administrative and communication skills, we encourage you to apply. Duties: - Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system (eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, etc.) - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations - Collect co-pays and payments from patients - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized Requirements: - Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred - Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, etc.) - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with office equipment such as phone systems, printers, and scanners Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
