Growing Internal Medicine practice seeking Office Manager to oversee day to day operations. Dupage Internal Medicine is a privately owned Medical Office affiliated with UChicago Advent Health and has been in the Hinsdale area for over 20 years. You will work directly with 2 MD's and 2 Nurse Practitioners to oversee and manage daily workflow. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a lead or Office Manager and has prior experience using eClinical Works EMR. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning and providing excellent care to patients.
- Manage and supervise receptionist and 5 Medical Assistants, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
- Oversee providers schedule, ZocDoc, and insurance eligibility
- Maintain EHR up to date and trouble shoot EMR as needed (eClinical Works)
- Claim processing, insurance denials and address billing disputes.
- Monthly revenue reports
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Coordinate with DO, PA, and NP programs for clinical rotations at our practice.
- Stay up to date with quality measures and develop workflow to ensure measures are met.
- Inventory and ordering of medical supplies, office supplies and vaccines.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery and improve patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- 2 years healthcare management or lead medical assistant preferred.
- Proven experience in Medical Office management or healthcare administration.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, coding systems, and insurance billing processes.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records eClinical Works (REQUIRED)
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and supervise a team.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to ensure compliance within the Medical Office setting.
2 weeks paid training. Minimum 30 hours per week.
