- Assisting with pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including formatting, editing, proofreading, and printing materials.
- Conducting research of prospective clients, industries, markets, and competitors.
- Updating and maintaining various experience databases and practice group rosters.
- Assisting with content creation for practice group descriptions, flyers, and other custom marketing materials.
- Assisting with rankings and awards submissions, and maintaining editorial calendars and submission tracking.
- Monitoring and reporting on industry trends and issues impacting specific practices, clients, and prospects.
- Providing on the ground support for local New York office Business Development events and conferences.
The ideal candidate will have four (4) to six (6) years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or professional services firm. Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree (required), preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with attorneys.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Creative research skills, meticulous writing, proofreading and data entry skills, and capacity to interpret data.
- Technological proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office programs; InDesign skills a plus.
- Grace under pressure and can work with tight deadlines.
- Positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.
- Understanding of U.S. litigation terminology and framework.
This is a hybrid in-office/remote working role requiring three in-office days per week.
