The Data Analyst, based at one of the US branch locations of LOGISTEED America, Inc. is responsible for managing and coordinating activities within the Freight Forwarding Administration department. This role is responsible for supporting various departments within LOGISTEED America, Inc. as well as LOGISTEED Japan Headquarters from a data analysis perspective.

*The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry and knowledge of CargoWise.*

Essential Functions

  • Perform tasks safely

  • Maintain base knowledge of CargoWise One Operating System with proclivity for continual learning
  • Support U.S. Operations staff, Sales staff and Clients with ad hoc and scheduled reports
  • Manage CW1 scheduled reports module by maintaining security access, rules and SOPs
  • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly KPI reporting
  • Issue ongoing accounting and financial tracking reports
  • Facilitate collection of monthly forecasting reports from all LOGISTEED America, Inc branches
  • Support completion of monthly financial reports submitted to Japan Headquarters
  • Respond to ad hoc data analysis requests from LOGISTEED America, Inc Management
  • Respond to ad hoc data analysis requests from Japan Headquarter offices
  • Support annual budget preparation for LOGISTEED America, Inc branches
  • Support monthly settlement reporting to overseas offices and agents
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
  • Travel both domestically and internationally according to business needs

Preferred Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

Previous Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 + years’ experience in Freight Forwarding

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar preferred

Work Environment

Ninety-five percent of the work time will be spent in an office setting where the environment is climate controlled. Five percent of work time may be spent in various warehouse or other locations where the environment is not climate controlled (hot and cold seasonally).
