TMC Logistics has an immediate full-time opening foran Administrative Assistantworking out of the ILC building in Des Moines, IA. The primary function of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the dedicated account executives.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, days

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tracking loads
• Building loads
• Set appointments
• Request detention and other miscellaneous accessorial charges
• Assist with customer websites and updating pertinent information
• Collect paperwork from vendors, drivers, and customers
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma with at least one year of related administrative work experience
• Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) products.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress
• Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
