Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Our full-service law firm accepts cases including but not limited to: Business law, Civil litigation, Real estate law and landowner legal issues (focus on both urban and rural properties) and Estate planning.

Job Description: As a legal assistant at Smith Rose Finley, PC, you will work closely with our attorneys to provide administrative support and assist with various legal tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents

Organizing and maintaining legal files

Assisting with case preparation and management

Communicating with clients, court personnel, and other parties

Performing other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in legal studies or related field preferred

Prior experience working in a legal environment

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
