POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Service Department in the processing of technicians’ service times, work orders and warranty claims with manufactures as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Responsible for posting technicians service time into the computer.
- Responsible for the processing, completion and billing of all service work orders.
- Responsible for processing and filing all warranty claims on all brands of equipment.
- Responsible for entering employee payroll information into the computer system for processing.
- Assist in collecting money for completed service work and making sure the service work is properly charged out.
- Assists with customer follow ups and handling customer service issues.
- Assist service technicians with enrollment in training schools and travel arrangements.
- Responsible for registering new and used equipment with proper delivery dates with the manufacture.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read on high school level.
- Experience in service and dealing with customers helpful.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
- Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word, Email, spreadsheets.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and vendors and possess exceptional customer service skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license in good standing, the ability to be an approved driver for the company and to safely operate vehicles.
- Must be able to work weekends as required in planting and harvest season.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: (IF APPLICABLE)
- No supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS (Lifting, Bending, Stretching, etc.)
- Requires the ability to lift up and carry up to 60 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The majority of working hours will be spent in an office setting.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with others.
Must be able to accept corrective criticism from supervisor.
Must be willing to take on a variety of assignments as assigned by management on an as-needed basis within the department and within other areas of King Ranch if necessary.
