Job DescriptionDirector, Digital Capability Lead (DCL), HCP Experience, US MedicalAbout the role:

Join Takeda as a Director, Digital Capability Lead (DCL), HCP Experience- US Medical, where you will establish and manage the strategy, execution, and evolution ofUS Medical’s ‘HCP Experience’ systems and processesthat are essential to delivering scientific exchange capabilities. You will also be accountable for US Medical’s HCP Experience roadmap, persona development, management, scientific exchange journey and message mapping. As part of the US Medical Affairs team, you will report to Head of Digital Engagement and Insights, and work alongside other verticals, omnichannel engagement leads and subject matter experts balancing US Medical ecosystem priorities and stakeholder input.

How you will contribute:

Ownership of Current Capabilities & Needs Mapping

  • Conduct and appropriately communicate a gap analysis to better understand current systems, functionality, and usage, including aggregating feedback/insights from MSLs on resources provided by the Content Engine.

  • Work with Omnichannel Engagement Leads and subject matter experts to develop a roadmap to adapt and evolve current systems over time to better support MSL engagement with HCPs, including prioritization.

  • Collaborate with leaders to align on investments required to improve the MSL/HCP Experience capabilities.

  • Develop an approach to effectively guide MSLs and other key stakeholders on best practices to leverage existing platforms, systems, and capabilities.

  • Lead the documentation and communication of existing and newly developed processes through the creation of playbooks and business requirements documents.

Cross-functional Collaboration / Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Field Medical leadership, SciComms, Pubs, Med. Info, and Regulatory) and omnichannel engagement leads or subject matter experts (e.g., USM Veeva Admin, Scientific Statement Librarian, and DAM Librarian) to ensure that the system processes are optimized for HCP engagement throughout the US Medical ecosystem. This includes working to communicate and document updates or changes to key stakeholders.

  • Provide robust context and insight value to support HCP engagement from Medical Units to Medical Communications to MSLs and in between.

  • Operate in a matrixed environment and coordinate across functions, leading through influence.

  • Communicate with differing stakeholders across the Digital Engagement & Insights Team to effectively understand the broader content and digital engagement landscape.

  • Understand and align business needs with insights that can be generated.o Translate information coming from a variety of disparate sources to develop necessary insights, connections, and efficiencies.

  • Meet with, share, and implement best practices with parallel roles within the Medical Digital Engagement group.

Planning and Alignment

  • Identify new/emerging opportunities and develop the business case(s) for moving forward.

  • Lead the documentation of existing and newly developed processes through the creation of playbooks and business requirements documents.

  • Develop and maintain a 2-3-year roadmap for engagement-related analytics and insights

Career Development

  • As a line manager, oversee and evaluate employee contribution, performance, and development.

Internal Representation

  • Provide periodical updates to various teams, as well as provide visibility and clarity about status and ways forward.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 5+ years’ experience working in digital marketing operations, or marketing technology-related functions, with 3+ years of healthcare professional, leadership, and/or data-backed HCP-engagement strategy experience, and/or persona development and mapping experience.

  • 2+ years of program management and budget management experience in a cross-functional environment.

  • 2+ years’ experience working with multiple cloud-computing and traditional data applications (e.g., Veeva, Adobe, or other CMS, CRM).

  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills

  • Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.

  • In-depth knowledge of HCP non-personal digital capabilities.

  • Content process/approval experience.

Preferred:

  • Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, Computer Science).

  • 3+ years of digital leadership role experience, especially with remote teams.

  • 7+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical-industry-focused omnichannel marketing.

  • 5+ years’ experience with social media platforms and their application.Prior experience working as an MSL or other related experience delivering scientific information to HCPs.

Lexington, MA

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
