Job Summary
Fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication by modeling the organization's values and culture. Our Human Resources Coordinator position is joining GI Associates as an HR professional working on HR related projects as well as take ownership over responsibilities that involve project management, creative ingenuity and flexibility and willingness to take on duties as needed and assigned. This position is approximately 32 hours per week.
Summary of Essential Job Functions of Human Resources Coordinator:
- Assist in the preparation of job postings, resume reviews, phone screenings and in-person initial interviews with the management team.
- Maintain the recruitment process in the HRIS system.
- Coordinate and implementation of employee onboarding, biweekly orientation, and training to ensure that new employees are comfortable and knowledgeable of the organization and expectations.
- Maintaining accurate and current personnel records and other HR related documentation
- Assist with audits of employment, payroll, and benefit records.
- Creatively compose and manage HR updates through the Internal GIA site and externally through social media
- Assist with research and creation of updating HR Policies and Job Descriptions as needed.
- Manage the Employee Recognition Program and Reward system.
Works independently on complex special projects in a variety of program areas including but not limited to l learning and development, performance management, education, employee engagement.
Develops and manages Company contests and events in the community.
Develops HR training presentations (i.e. benefits, ADP navigation) as needed
Develops Ad Hoc Surveys for employees and organizationally.
Provides reports to assist Human Resources Department decision making.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the department.
- Experienced interest in Human Resources
