Our fast paced, dynamic and team-oriented manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced and well-rounded part-time Human Resources Coordinator. As a trusted resource the Human Resources Coordinator will support our day-to-day business operations with a specialized focus on recruitment, payroll, employee relations and other Human Resources administrative tasks. The role will require a schedule of 25 hours per week which may increase in the near future depending on business demands. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment efforts for both exempt and non-exempt level roles within the plant to include job posting (internal & external), scheduling/conducting interviews, preparing & extending offer letters, initiating pre-employment screenings. Partnering with local staffing agencies.
- Oversee and conduct new hire orientation and on boarding including processing of all new hire paperwork and preparing and coordinating new hire training schedule.
- Oversight of benefit and leave management programs.
- In compliance with all local, state and federal regulations; prepare and/or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
- Point person for employee relation issues, conducting thorough and unbiased investigations with proper documentation and guiding resolutions.
- Strives towards maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture that is considered positive, engaging and diverse and inclusive.
- Cascade and monitor corporate driven programs (open-enrollment, compliance training requirements) to all layers within the organization.
- Partner with EH&S Manager in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with EH&S policy and procedures.
- Point person for corporate payroll group and responsible for admin level payroll tasks.
- As needed, provide support to other Human Resources team members within the Thermal Solutions Segment.
Requirements:
- 3 to 7 years of progressive & professional experience in a Human Resources Department in a similar role.
- Experience working with a diverse workforce; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Top notch written and verbal skills, detail oriented; accuracy is essential.
- Excellent technical skills, MS Office, working knowledge and exposure to HRIS programs - UKG PRO highly desirable.
- Ability to interact with multiple layers of the organization at both the local and corporate level and ability to handle a high degree of confidentiality and sensitive information.
- A compassionate and level-headed person with the ability to focus on the task at hand while supporting the big picture goals of the organization.
