Koontz Bryant Johnson Williams (KBJW) is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic growing team in our Richmond, Virginia office.

Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the new hire on-boarding process to include I9 and Background Screening
- Supports HR Manager in the maintenance of employee records and personnel files
- Recruiting for all open positions, utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Registering and attending career fairs for universities in the area
- Provides support to HR Manager in updating the employee handbook and policies as changes occur
- Entering employees into the HRIS, tracking benefit eligibility, assisting with enrollment
- Track and process Leave, Worker's Comp, and Disability claims
- Assist with internal and external employee events and volunteering
- Maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee records
- Supporting Marketing and Business Development needs by attending local events and other tasks as needed
- Promoting a positive company culture
- Demonstrates a team oriented attitude
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with HR Manager and other team members
- Other tasks as assigned

- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years previous HR or similar experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, Benefits Software
- Great attitude and a desire to grow professionally
