The Human Resources Administrative Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Human Resources Director and is responsible for the effective administration and program compliance for employee leave of absence requests under the Family Medical Leave Act, and other absences including but not limited to: Americans with Disabilities Act, military leave, unpaid leave, and workers compensation leave. Effective administration includes coordination, tracking and communication with all relevant parties.
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for the effective management of all matters related to workers compensation in accordance with state and federal guidelines. This position is also responsible for completion and submission of all required documentation, including timely communication of all required notices in accordance with state and federal guidelines while performing exemplary customer service and assistance to employees and leadership staff. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for the effective management of Affordable Care Act (ACA) data and reporting requirements.
This position will assist with audits from regulatory agencies and accreditation processes. This position also provides administrative assistance to the Human Resources department and backup assistance to the Assistant Human Resources Director with management of electronic data entry of all personnel actions as needed and assists in providing backup support for payroll and benefits as needed.

Preferred Qualifications: More than three years previous experience in Human Resources, experience in the non-profit sector, Bachelor’s degree, certification in Human Resources.
