Summary
The Human Resources Assistant performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of JERA Americas human resource department.
Position Description
Support planning and execution of HR projects
- Create positions for posting in the HRIS system and supporting daily activity for Corporate Recruiters.
- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports utilizing the HRIS System and excel.
- Manage the college recruiting schedules and postings for the Corporate Recruiters.
- Assist with planning and execution of benefits enrollment, organization-wide health and welfare events, employee recognition events, etc.
- Coordinate Quarterly plant tours to Freeport LNG facility as part of Onboarding education.
- Assist in setting schedules for cross cultural training.
- Manage Tea and Teach sessions and obtaining educational materials and speakers.
- Coordinate expat language training.
- HR procurement of hiring gift, intern gifts, college swag, etc.
- Scheduling meetings and supporting HR visitors.
- Scheduling candidate interviews via Microsoft Teams and in-person interviews.
- Support HR and the Talent Management team as assigned by HR leadership.
Support Bucksport HR administration activities
- Backup payroll administration for Bucksport (and also Canal when needed).
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation for Bucksport.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Maintain USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; Periodically audits Forms I-9
- Maintain Bucksport org chart.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Associate degree in related field.
- A minimum of 3 years HR related work experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
