As a member of the Human Resources Department that is focused on branch specific recruiting efforts for the company. Maintains a professional and progressive recruiting brand, utilizing all potential avenues. This position works closely with Branch Managers to fill their staffing needs in all 23 locations. Also helps provides administrative and technical human resource assistance to management and employees.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Pre-screen candidates as requested by Company managers. Forward qualified candidates to managers, accordingly.
- Communicate with managers regularly regarding quality of candidates and effectiveness of recruiting methods.
- Develop and maintain an online recruiting presence using a diverse mix of recruiting tools and websites.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates to fuel Company growth.
- Research and recommend new sources for recruiting.
- Post open positions internally, in print advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate resources.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective candidates. Send appropriate correspondence to applicants in a timely manner.
- Schedule interviews with managers and assist in interviewing and selecting employees as needed.
- Assist in maintenance of an application database/tracking system that retains and organizes applications/resumes for one year.
- Attend job fairs as well as organizes and leads on-site job fairs in select divisions of the Company.
Human Resources
- Develop a general knowledge of all HR related functions: employee relations, benefits, payroll, unemployment, workers compensation, etc.
- Provide backup to other HR Staff.
- Keeps abreast of legislation affecting human resources and monitors company policies to ensure compliance; minimizes company risk.
- Prepares information requested or required for compliance with laws.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information.
