We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Specialist to join our growing team in the United States. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, as well as at the early stage until we grow our US Team, helping with recruitment and onboarding activities of the new employees. You will collaborate with the international HR team and other HR Leaders to ensure that the global processes are being implemented while driving the right behaviors. You will be responsible for America's employees and conduct recruitment for both North and South American offices.
You will collaborate with hiring managers to identify and attract top tech talent, manage the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, and ensure a positive candidate experience. Your expertise will contribute to building a high-performing and engaged workforce in our rapidly expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records for our IT team, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations specific to the tech sector
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing HR files, handling employee inquiries related to technology-specific benefits, and maintaining HR databases relevant to the IT industry
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends, best practices, and labor laws applicable to the IT industry to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive employment environment for our tech talent
- Research and identify potential candidates through various channels specifically relevant to the IT industry, including specialized online job boards, professional networking sites catering to tech professionals, and industry events tailored to the tech landscape
- Manage the recruitment process for IT positions, including scheduling interviews, coordinating reference checks, and facilitating offer negotiations specific to the tech industry
- Prepare job offers, negotiate compensation packages that align with market rates for IT professionals, and process onboarding paperwork for new hires in the tech domain
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong interest in the IT industry
- 3-4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and HR Operations, preferably in the IT industry
- Proven ability to source and identify qualified candidates with specific technical skills and experience relevant to the tech industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders, including tech professionals, hiring managers, and industry partners
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, particularly in a fast-paced and dynamic environment like the IT industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications commonly used in the tech sector
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing HR practices and technologies, specifically those relevant to the rapidly evolving IT industry
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online sourcing tools
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and employment in the tech sector
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with company goals and the specific needs of the IT team
- Knowledge of effective onboarding practices to ensure a smooth transition for new hires in the tech domain
- Passion for building a diverse and inclusive workforce, particularly in the tech industry where diversity of thought and experience is crucial for innovation
