Senior HR Specialist

Summary/Objective:
We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to work on the Human Resources team. The incumbent will report to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources. The Sr. Human Resources Generalist oversees Employee Development, Performance Management and assists the EVP in other assigned duties.

Non-exempt (overtime eligible)
Hybrid Schedule – 3 Days in the office/2 days’ work from home
Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Serves as a lead administrator to our Learning Management System (Grace Hill); this includes managing all aspects of system administration, i.e., configuring groups, learning paths, report building, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Responsible for designing learning incentives and facilitating management training across the portfolio.
- Crafts and distributes monthly organizational training campaign initiatives and communication to ensure employees have knowledge of future training courses, workshops, and resources.
- Schedules and presents various annual mandatory training by securing locations, catering, equipment, materials, etc.
- Creates learning agendas for succession planning, newly promoted employees.
- Track and monitor training effectiveness through reporting and analytics in the HRIS performance platform.
- Supports performance management and prepares the annual performance evaluations for the HRIS platform.
- Enhances metrics dashboards to capture headcount, turnover, and DEI reporting.
- Reviews and assists disciplinary actions and creates coaching opportunities as assigned.
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the HR day-to-day activities associated with the Recruitment and Onboarding as needed
- Performs HR compliance file audits to ensure all required employee documentation is completed.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Dayforce Ceridian is a plus
- Previous HR experience (3-5 years) is preferred, and analytical experience is a must.
- Must know Microsoft Word & Excel
- A strong sense of urgency is a must
- Knowledge of Labor Laws and HR Policies and procedures is a MUST
