Now hiring for a full-time Human Resources Payroll Specialist!
Essential Job Functions Include:
- Prepare and process the bi-weekly payroll, bi-weekly payroll deposits, and quarterly payroll reports.
- Maintain necessary payroll records and regulations.
- Review and update paid time off codes/hours based on status changes.
- Update pay rates and terminations from the computer system.
- Maintain time keeper and payroll systems.
- Prepare attendance reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent personnel information in accordance with the Privacy Act.
- Provide general assistance to other Human Resources staff as needed.
- Answer telephone, assist employees and take messages for other Human Resources representatives in their absence.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources
Requirements:
- Most Possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.
Qualifications:
- Previous payroll experience required. Previous payroll experience within a multi-shift organization preferred.
- Computer skills is a must.
- Organizational skills needed.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.)
- Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
