- Maintain and accurately update employee personnel records for medical, dental, and disability insurance, 401K, and other employee benefits
- Reconcile insurance invoices to ensure the accuracy of payments and employee deductions
- Assist in the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Issue or reissue checks or direct deposits in the event of a payroll error
- Provide assistance with the development of cross-training matrix, evaluations, and job descriptions
- Assist with hiring and employee onboarding

Keystone Wood Specialties, a family-owned and operated manufacturer of custom cabinet doors and drawer fronts, seeks an HR & Payroll Assistant to provide administrative support in Human Resources, Payroll, and Accounting. This role will include completing various tasks, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and new employee onboarding. Our ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong time management skills and the flexibility to pivot between different tasks and pitch in where needed.
Our Ideal HR & Payroll Assistant:
- Experience: 2 years of Human Resources or Benefits Administration experience required. Previous payroll experience is required. Experience with general bookkeeping/accounting is a plus
- Detailed & Organized: Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and updated records. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Computer Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience with accounting/bookkeeping and payroll software is preferred
- Excellent Communication Skills: Can communicate effectively and clearly both in person and in writing
- Ethical: Treat people respectfully, follow through on commitments, inspire trust, and work with integrity
