HR Generalist- Part Time

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR duties to support the organization and its employees. Your main responsibilities will include:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates

- Manage onboarding process for new and seasonal employees
- Assist controller in maintaining HR system; Paylocity

- Manage gratuity payouts for all gratuity employees
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee timekeeping records
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on various HR topics
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA and Club Safety guidelines

- Handle any workers compensation claims
- Assist controller with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

- Assist Controller with annual employee benefits open enrollment process
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems

- Assist Controller with maintaining and updating employee handbook

- Administer employee reviews and work with management to ensure reviews are conducted in timely manner

- Any other projects or duties assigned by Controller

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree
• Minimum of two years of administrative or Human Resources experience
• Experience with Paylocity is preferred
• Knowledge of and ability to apply human resource management principles, including hiring, training and orienting, coaching, and evaluating employees.
• Ability to interpret and apply Federal, State, and Local Human Resources laws and regulations, such as FMLA.
• Ability to communicate information between employees and management.
• Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
