LHH is looking for an HR Generalist in the Chicagoland area. This is a Contract position only, please read the details and apply today!
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Chicago. As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our internal HR functions and contributing to the success of our clients and candidates.
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $25-$30/ hourly
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs and provide effective HR solutions.
- Conduct orientations and onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a staffing or recruitment environment.
- Bilingual would be a plus!
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software.
- Experience with ADP, Workday, UKG would be a plus!
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per day
