Step 1 - complete the below applicationStep 2 - CLICK HERE to complete a Culture Index Assessment Job Summary The Human Resource Coordinator will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Coordinator will report to the HR Manager in The Woodlands. Duties/Responsibilities Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes, including conducting pre-screenings, coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, initiate all pre-employment requirements (i.e., background checks, drug & alcohol testing, pre-employment physicals, I-9 verifications, etc.), oversees the new hire orientation, distributing new hire packages to new hires, ensuring all new hire documents are completed accurately and promptly.
Ensure all new hires have access to necessary software (90io, Paychex, Mailchimp, Podium, etc.) Assist with job description creation, collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Maintain all digital and manual employee files; ensure all are complete and updated regularly. Work with external service providers, such as employment agencies.
Ensuring jobs are posted internally and externally. Enter, process, and update employee data accurately, including new hires, terminations, promotions, benefits, employee status changes, etc. Ensure any HR invoices are sent to Accounts Payable for payment.
Assist the plant with HR issues (located in Cleveland, Tx) at a minimum of 2 days. Assist with Open Enrollment annually and process employee benefit allocations and reports. Monitor compliance poster updates and shipments and ensure distribution of updated materials is sent to each office location and posted in a timely manner.
Answer HR-related questions via phone and email, including general questions regarding HR processes and procedures. Manages HRIS software Paychex front office and back office. Generate ad hoc reports as requested in Business Intelligence Manage company text messages in Podium.
Create & send out Coalition Chronicle in Mailchimp. Manage company e-forms in Jotform. Utilize and support the EOS program.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute organizational incentives and recognition programs.
Defers to HR Manager for employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Manages HR PEO and additional software for personnel, company, and recruitment records. Works with PEO (and CFO) on 401k notifications and administration.
Assist with special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
