HR Leave Coordinator
Job Summary/Description:
Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of leave administration duties. Position requires an understanding of FMLA, Parental Leave, disability plans, and ADA Accommodations. Processes leave administration emails and service tickets in accordance with institution policy. Ensures leave requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Responds to employee leave inquiries by evaluating and/or escalating questions to the Sr. HR Leave Administration, HR Generalists, Senior HR Managers, HR Operations and HRIS Director as needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to):
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assists with the administration of leave of absence requests, including FMLA, Parental Leave, disability plans, ADA Accommodations, and general leave of absences. Processes required documents through third party leave administrator, Client, time-keeping, and Human Resources to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Reviews time entry system for accurate recording of leaves taken by employees.
Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action as it relates to the employee leave request.
Assists with processing of terminations as it relates to employees on leave.
Works with the HR Benefits Team to coordinate employees transition from a leave status to a retirement status.
Schedules meetings and leave reviews as requested by the Sr. Leave Administrator and or HR Client.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions. Maintains all employee leave files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual a plus (Spanish & English) (Not sure on this one)
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree is required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) plus years of leave processing experience is required.
General office skills including knowledge of microsoft office products, Teams, excel and word
