We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. The Human Resources Assistant will support all aspects of the HR Integration team, and will focus on Onboarding, Offboarding, process development and administration, and strategy execution for employees added due to Mergers & Acquisitions transactions (M&A).
The ideal candidate will thrive in our hands-on, team-focused, collaborative environment and will be client focused, detail oriented, organized, professional and trustworthy. This is a fast paced, high change environment, so candidates must be comfortable with learning new skills, systems, processes & procedures and shifting to new ways of thinking and doing as needed.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hybrid position with an excellent compensation and benefits package and a flexible work environment, reporting to our office in Fort Washington, PA.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist in preparing, organizing and maintaining documentation related to HR M&A activities, including employee records, contracts, and legal documents. Coordinate meetings and communication between HR team and employees. Assist in ensuring HR compliance throughout the M&A process. Support HR professionals in conducting due diligence activities related to HR matters.
Data Management: Compile and analyze HR-related data such as employee demographics, benefits, and compensation structures for both organizations involved in the M&A. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data to support decision-making during integration efforts. Utilize UKG (HR platform) and other relevant software to track and manage employee information and timely progress throughout the M&A process. Support HR integration team in conducting due diligence activities related to HR matters.
Employee Communication and Engagement: Assist in drafting communications, announcements, and FAQs to keep employees informed about M&A developments, changes, and timelines. Collaborate with HR teams to address employee concerns, facilitate integration efforts, and promote a positive employee experience during transition periods. Support the development and implementation of integration initiatives to foster a cohesive company culture post-acquisition.
Integration Planning and Execution: Contribute to the development of integration plans and timelines for HR-related activities, including onboarding and training. Monitor progress, identify issues, and propose solutions to ensure successful integration of HR processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, or related experience.
- 0 to 4 years of administrative experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic HR Laws and application a plus.
- Extreme comfortability working with technology and HR systems, preferably UKG (previously UltiPro and Kronos).
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Manage multiple time-sensitive conflicting priorities in a timely manner.
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Self-directed and motivated.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with use of personal computer and supporting software/programs, including but not limited to Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and DocuSign.
