We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to lead our strategic initiatives across the United States and Canada. This role is pivotal in driving growth and innovation within GE Healthcare by managing three core teams: Lead Qualification Specialists, Sales Development Representatives, and the Listen & Lead program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in customer-centric roles and a passion for driving sales through innovative strategies.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Lead Qualification Specialist team, ensuring efficient qualification of all incoming leads from our marketing programs, converting them into actionable sales opportunities.

  • Direct the Sales Development Representatives in executing outbound call campaigns for critical initiatives, focusing on both the US and Canadian markets.

  • Lead the Listen & Lead program, leveraging our internal field engineers to generate qualified leads through customer interactions during equipment servicing, fostering an environment of employee advocacy and customer-centric sales.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Business Development strategies that align with GE Healthcare’s growth objectives and market demands.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure cohesive strategies and messaging across all initiatives.

  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Business Development teams.

  • Ensure team alignment with GE Healthcare’s values and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and loyalty.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in management roles within customer service, customer loyalty, or sales, preferably in the healthcare or technology sectors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams across multiple functions and geographies.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and technology trends is highly desirable.

  • Ability to travel as required for the role.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $146,880.00-$220,320.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
