The Fundraising System Support Specialist - Peer to Peer will work primarily with Signature and P2P event fundraising applications, with an emphasis on Luminate Online. This position plays a critical role in JDRF's financial and data management including policy development, donation processing, donor acknowledgement, data entry, and data integration between fundraising applications, CRM, ERP, and third-party partners. The Specialist will ensure their assigned work is completed within an established set of service-level agreements (SLAs) with our Chapter leadership, National Development leadership, and third-party partners.
This position will work closely with the Finance, Technology and Resources teams to ensure timely and accurate event related entry and tracking and will foster and drive an environment of continuous improvement. The Specialist will serve as the enterprise Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for coding and processing of all event fundraising sources for Chapters. This position requires outstanding organizational skills, communication skills, customer service skills and business acumen.
This is a remote position.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Setting and enforcing policy as relates to event fundraising and systems
• Project set up and data entry as necessary (GG)
• Support to chapter for event RSVP management (GG)
• Entering and maintaining sales and payments (GG)
• Invoice generation for event related sponsor/donor donations (GG and LO)
• Distributing outstanding payment reports (GG and LO)
• Reconciling GG statements
• Post event acknowledgements, reconciliation & settlement (GG and LO)
• Run DSP reports for Ride and Challenge events (LO)
• Ensuring Fundraising System revenue totals are in sync with CRM
• In conjunction with development, develop and enforce policies supporting data governance in the Fundraising Systems.
• Provide guidance and support to chapters and communicate process improvements to ensure compliance and successful implementation within the chapters.
Event Registration and Donation Management
• Ensure appropriate staff are available and trained to execute organizational practices and policies to enhance constituent experience and ensure accuracy, data integrity and audit compliance.
• Serve as point of contact (or lead, if necessary) for GG event support, specific to registration and/or check out procedures for event when donor dollars are being collected and delivery to RMG. Also assist with pre-event organization and integrity with receipt and guest details in collaboration with chapter staff.
• Serve as point of contact (or lead, if necessary) for LO event support, specific to money collection and delivery to RMG.
• Train chapter staff as needed for event day/night finance process.
• Enter payments, process credit cards and assist with donor data entry, money moves and resolution of donor data issues.
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years progressive experience in an accounting, finance, or business administration role. Experience in nonprofit organizations preferred.
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Experience with Salesforce, Workday/ERP applications, and fundraising applications strongly preferred
• Experience implementing projects that include data and system Integrations
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
• Working knowledge of JDRF financial policies and revenue coding business rules strongly preferred
• Excellent time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Pro-active approach focused on problem solving
• Fast learner and able to link diverse sources of information to the business, including ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion
• Ability to work and make judgments independently and take initiative
• Well-disciplined and a self-starter that is extremely resourceful
Travel Requirements: The Specialist may be required from time to time to travel Chapter locations and/or National headquarters. Travel will be < 5%.
Targeted salary range: $58,000 - $68,000

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
